It only occurred to me yesterday what a major embarrassment I was to Graham and Peter at the Rammstein concert.  I knew that I was screaming a lot but to me I was just enjoying myself.  It wasn't until Graham was talking to his brother and his g/f about it yesterday, that it hit home to me just what he thought of me.  He said I was a total embarrassment to him that night.  He said it in a joking manner but I just knew it was really how he felt.  I have really got to control myself when we go to concerts or even just refuse to go to any from now on.

Been into town today with hubby

We spend every Wednesday together.  Neither of us doing any housework or work all day until we pick the kids up after school.

I bought myself a new denim jacket today to go with the jeans and t-shirt I bought yesterday for the Rammstein concert on Friday.  Grey bought himself some new shirts and trousers for the concert too.  I can't wait!  I can't believe we're going to see them in just 2 days!  I'm sooooooo excited lol

Today

I finished painting Peter's room.  On Thursday I've just got to do touch ups and that's it done.  Next week, with any luck I'll be getting him some new curtains and a new carpet for his room.

Heather had a friend round for tea tonight.  She's a new girl that's started in Heather's class and they've struck up a really good friendship which I'm pleased about.  Heather has had a hard time adjusting to being in her new school.  She started being a bit of a loner and that is worrying because at her other school she had loads of friends.  She seems to have picked up a bit now that Molly has started there as well.

Big news - Adam did a poo on the toilet at school today for the first time ever!!!!  It sounds really daft but that really is big news.  He's incontinent and we've had a lot of trouble getting him to use any kind of toilet, at home or at school.  So for him to use the toilet at school today was big!  He got a sticker from the headteacher.  She's lovely, Mrs Howe.  She can't seem to do enough for Adam.

It's been a while since I last wrote in my diary.  Didn't realise it had been so long!

Today's plans

I'm taking Peter to the doctors this morning because for the last few days he's been complaining of a burning sensation in hs back.  Then this afternoon me, Heather and Adam are off to my best friend Sarah's house to visit her and her daughter Katie.

Peter has to see a physio regarding his shoulder.  His right shoulder blade is a bit lower than his left, but the doctor isn't sure whether this is due to him compensating for the pain or whether it has always been like that but it is just presenting itself today because of the pain.  He's also got some new cream to put on his face for the acne and some paracetamol and ibuprofen on prescription.

Another addition to the family

Me and Graham went out this morning to do a couple of things in town and on the way back we popped into Pets At Home to buy another roborovski hamster. When he bought Peter's hamsters yesterday, there were those two plus one other but the other one is female and so can't be kept with her brothers. But Graham couldn't bear the thought of her being left on her own, so we bought her today and bought a larger tank to keep her brothers and put her in the smaller one. Graham's called her Babooshka or Babs for short LOL

So far .....

Woke up this morning to find that we'd caught 3 baby mice. Yay!!! Graham's gone out to pay the rent on his room at the Community Centre, hopefully set the mice free and then he's going to Maplins and Pets At Home. I'm going to get washed and dressed and get the housework done. We've got our housing officer, Caroline Fox, coming at 2pm today so I want the house looking fairly good by the time she gets here.

Peter went out with Graham to set the mice free and ended up buying 2 roborovski hamsters from Pets At Home for Peter to replace the terrapin turtle of his that died last month. They're soooooo gorgeous! He's named them Robert and Richard.
